Meet Dominique

Dominique is an active member of the Memphis community, and volunteers with various local and national nonprofit organizations including STS Enterprise, Keepers of 306 – committee for the National Civil Rights Museum, and Girl Scouts Heart of the South where she is the troop leader for Brownie Girl Scouts - 2nd & 3rd grade and Junior Girl Scouts - 4th and 5th grade girls. Dominique also serves on the board for Center for Transforming Communities, and the Memphis and Mid-South Chapter of the National Hampton Alumni Association.

Dominique is the founder/owner of SWIM Academy Memphis and head coach of the Stingray Swim Team, located in the Hickory Hill community. The programs are designed to increase swimmer's passion and competitiveness for the sport of swimming, with a focus on increased minority participation and developing talent in children who want to swim and have the goal of swimming at a high level.

Dominique received a  Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Leadership Studies from Hampton University, a Master of Public Administration in Non – Profit Management, from Arkansas State University and Master of Arts in International Relations, from Webster University. 

Dominique is an alumnus of Leadership Memphis, AmeriCorps VISTA, Leaders of Color Initiative and holds membership in the Junior League of Memphis and American Society of Public Administrators.
